This song from Chembarathy (Hibiscus) Directed by P.N Menon. This movie was based on a script by Malayattoor Ramakrishnan, a great novelist in malayalam and starred newcomers like Raghavan, Sudhir and Sobha along with veteran actors like Madhu and Rani. It was released in 1975, it was one of the big hits in malayalam film industry for ever. Vayalar Ramavarma wrote the Lyrics and Devarajan master composed the music. Chembarathy has won several awards in state and National level. Devarajan master used one Hindustani raga "Hameer kalyani" for this melodious song.

It is not at all a song but a poem. This song from the movie “Neeyethra Dhanya” The Lyricist of this song ONV Kurupu is one of the living poets in India.He won Padmasree, Kendra sahithya Academy award, Kerala sahithya academy award ets in is works. He won the National award for best Lyricist in 1988 for the film viashali, and Kerala State film awards for the Best Lyricist thirteen times. He did so many songs with Devarajan master and that all were super hits. In their combination, most of the songs were sung by Yesudas.

I remember one incident happened in my village, that one husband and wife got divorced and after living alone some years. That time they heard this song and it made them realized it is not good. Then they decided for living together. A very good song it will relax you When
you are alone.

This song from the movie "Oru vadakkan veeraghatha" Directed by Hariharan in 1989. Mammotty acted the leading role of Chandu and Madhavi- Unniyarcha. M.T Vasudevan Nair penned for this movie. The film was about the famous warriors of Northern Kerala. K. Jayakumar wrote the lyrics and Ravi Bombay was the music Director. Appart from this song "Indulekha kanthurannu" & "Kalarivilakku thelinjathano", Unni ganapathi thamburane were the another songs of this movie.
Mammootty got his first National award which he played an anti hero's role in this movie. Outstanding dialogues and kalarippayattu were the highlights of this movie. This film represents the Golden age of Malayalam Cinema. The story was filmed numerous times in the early black & white era. Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha presents an alternative version of the same legend, as it presents the incident from Chandu's perspective.

This song is from the Movie Thazhvaram released in 1990. MT Vasudevan Nair penned this movie and Bharathan directed the film. There was only one song in the movie, "Kannatha Dhoore Marutheeram" tuned by Raveendran Master. Mohanlal played the lead role "Balan", Sumalatha as “Kochootty”, salim as Raju, and Sankaradi as Sumalatha’s Father. Camera man Venu did a great job in this movie. He created the mood of death and revenge in the valley. Kaithapram wrote the lyrics and Raveendran master composed the evergreen song kannetha doore marutheeram... was a super hit. 4 major characters played this movie were one of the specialties and all were able to give convincing performances.

The Director takes the audiences to a valley - where death and revenge awaits you in every corner. Balan’s purpose for coming that Valley to kill his wife's murderer "Raju". Raju is living as "Raghavan" in that valley with sankaradi and sumalatha. one day Raju beaten up Balan and thrown away to the valley and later sumalatha saved him and brings to her home. Through the flash back scenes we come to know that the reason for killing Raji, Balan’s wife. A very famous dialogue in this movie was "He tries to kill me in any means; I also try not to get killed". And in climax Balan killed Raju and went away from the valley.
