It is an evergreen song from the movie "Nakhakshathangal" in Malayalam released in 1986 which is directed by well known Director Hariharan. MT Vasudevan Nair wrote the script. Four melodious songs are the highlight of this movie. Lyrics by ONV Kuruppu & Music director Ravi Bombay. This song based on the raga "mohanam" and sung by the legendary singer Dr K.J Yesudas. Vineeth, Monisha, Thilakan, Kaviyur ponnamma were the actors. Monisha got National award for best actress in this movie.
